Every child should have a high visibility vest for walking, cycling, horse riding, walking buses etc. If adults working near to traffic wear high visibility vests, then surely children should wear high visibility clothing too!
Children's road safety is the most important benefit of our high visibility vests. Also, a child in a hi-viz vest will be more difficult to lose in a crowded place such as an airport or popular tourist resort.
Our high visibility vests have fluorescent yellow backgrounds and retro-reflective tape. High visibility vests comply with standard EN 1150:1999 (a European standard covering high visibility clothing).
Get the right size vest for your child. High visibility vest sizes available: Small (children aged 4-6), Medium (child aged 7-9) and Large (children aged 10-12). Also available - larger sized safety vests for teenagers and adults. Other suppliers may offer you the choice of a single 'one-size-fits-all' high visibility vest, one size meant to cover the entire primary school age range, with the vest only fitting properly when the child is about 8 years old!.
The small size high visibility vest can be used for younger children - the children we childmind wear them from age 2 - the photo on the right is of a 3 year old wearing a small high vis vest.
Printing on children's high visibility vests
We are able to arrange for printing on high visibility vests - company logos, school names etc. Please visit our online store for price details.
The vests are usually printed on the upper middle of the back (between the 'braces' of the vest). Children's high visibility vests will obviously have less space for printing than adult size vests - if you let us know which size(s) of vest you would like printed, we can tell you the available space for printing.
Please contact us for details of safety vest printing. Printing on high visibility vests adds up to 8 working days to the delivery time (we use a screen printing company near us).
